The grapes destined for the production of Moscato d'Asti Zagara come from vineyards grown on hills characterized by medium-textured marls in which, compared to limestone, fine fractions prevail, i.e. quartz sands and very fine silt, capable of providing an abundance of trace elements ensuring at the same time an immediate expression of the bouquet. The vineyards, located on steeply sloping hills, allow the grapes to ripen perfectly.
The perlage is fine and abundant. The color is straw yellow with golden reflections. The scent is intense, rich in aromatic scents - in particular orange, peach and apricot blossoms can be recognized - in perfect balance with the low alcohol content and acidity, never very high, which gives the product a pleasant freshness.
Sweet and aromatic wine goes well with desserts at the end of a meal and the classic hazelnut nougat. Ideal companion in moments of celebration, it is a pleasant thirst-quenching drink at any time of the day, especially after sports.
