The Champagne Grand Brut is the historic jewel of the Perrier-Jouët house, the first Brut created by the prestigious Maison in its search for perfection and absolute refinement. In fact, it was born in 1856 from the noble intuition of reducing the quantity of sugar in the dosage to make the elegance of the cuvée better perceived and to win over the English clientele, differentiating itself from the other Champagne labels, at that time anchored to the old and approved flavors.
Tasting Notes
Brilliant straw yellow with fine and persistent perlage. Delicate on the nose, it lets you perceive floral and fruity fragrances, followed by light notes of butter and vanilla, and citrus nuances. The taste is fresh, round and vinous, full and lively but still balanced until the end.
Pairings
To be uncorked for a romantic dinner, it can be paired with a risotto with asparagus and Parmesan.
