Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG Superiore Extra Dry “Senior” 2022 – Bortolomiol

The Senior è il Prosecco Superiore DOCG per eccellenza, il nome latino è comprensibile a tutti anche a livello internazionale come il nome “Prosecco”. Per molti anni lo spumante Prosecco di Valdobbiadene era conosciuto solo come Extra Dry per la naturale amabilità ed il residuo zuccherino. Oggi, che Bortolomiol ha nella sua linea tradizionale 4 variazioni di gusto del Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, il numero “II” sulla capsula sta ad indicare che è il secondo nella gradazione dal più secco al più amabile, mentre il nome Senior ricorda la sua primogenitura. La sua equilibrata dose di zuccheri residui e i suoi profumi avvolgenti gli conferiscono morbidezza e grande fruibilità.

Tasting Notes

In the glass it has a straw yellow color, with some slight reflections tending to gold and greenish. The perlage is subtle and persistent. The aromas on the nose tell of fruity and citrus hints, which blend well with notes of lily of the valley, hawthorn and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is balanced, soft, extremely drinkable.

Pairings

For all occasions: drunk with friends at the bar, as an aperitif but it is in the kitchen that it finds its greatest exaltation. Try it with vegetable soups.
