A particular wine not only for aging on the seabed in the beautiful Baia del Silenzio in Sestri Levante, but also for the choice of the blend used (Ciliegiolo and Granaccia). Pierluigi Lugano, a living institution of Ligurian viticulture, amazes us once again with this wonderful “Abissi Rosé” sparkling wine.
The bottles rest in metal cages at a depth of 60 meters for 26 months, with the sea currents lulling the wine in place of man. The disgorgement is then carried out without sugar dosages. And once it returns to the surface, as evidence of its history, each bottle of “Abissi Rosé” brings with it encrustations of oysters and small crustaceans, protected by a special film. A particular sparkling wine with a strong personality, perfect for those looking for a unique bottle.
Tasting Notes
Pale but lively pink color, enveloping, complex and elegant aroma, flavor of considerable thickness, dry and frank, sensations of vegetal character and Mediterranean berries emerge enriched by salty and mineral notes.
