Recioto, a wine of ancient tradition, gave rise to the production of Amarone and is one of the most important passito red wines in the Italian wine scene.
The "Fiorato" is one of the vineyards that make up the magnificent property of Tommasi: here the Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara vines are born and grow from which the Recioto della Valpolicella Classico is made, a wine that embodies the Venetian winemaking tradition. Once harvested, the grapes are slowly dried inside the loft; then we move on to the refinement phase, carried out for a year in tonneau. A label of charm and personality, whose class lies in a very inviting sugar content.
Tasting Notes
Intense and deep ruby red, it is very elegant and complex in the rich notes of fruit in alcohol, with cherry in evidence, on hints of vanilla and sweet spices. On the palate it is broad and harmonious, with a well-balanced sweetness and a persistent finish.
Pairings
Excellent at the end of a meal, in combination with desserts and dry pastries, it is ideal with preparations based on berries or dark chocolate. Perfect with mature and blue cheeses. Drunk on its own, it is a great conversation wine
