Prunotto tells, through its own labels, the history and uniqueness of these lands, expressing the thousand nuances that each small plot of vineyard can tell. A continuous challenge, between tradition and innovation, to show the characteristics of a unique terroir through indigenous and non-native varietals.
Traditional Barolo, Prunotto's historic label, born with the 1905 harvest from the best grapes from the vineyards in the heart of the Barolo appellation. Aging in large barrels of different capacities enhances the extraordinary typicality of Nebbiolo from these areas.
Tasting Notes
Barolo Prunotto has a garnet red color. The nose is complex and broad with pleasant sensations of rose petals, red fruits and spicy notes. On the palate it is full, very well balanced with velvety tannins.
Pairings
For the whole meal, due to its characteristics of structure and body it goes well with meat dishes, especially game, and aged cheeses.
