Franciacorta DOCG Satèn “Vintage Collection” 2020 – Ca’ del Bosco

Franciacorta Satèn Vintage Collection di Ca 'del Bosco was born in vineyards located between the green landscapes and the rolling hills of Erbusco, in the heart of the magical terroir of Franciacorta, the moraine cradle south of Lake Iseo. It is produced at 85% with Chardonnay grapes, at 15% with Pinot Bianco grapes, harvested only by hand during the first and second ten days of August.

Smooth, lush, ripe, soft, round. Remember the enchanting sensuality that distinguishes the woman in your heart. One of those wines that make the senses vibrate. A special interpretation of a Franciacorta: the harmonious marriage between sun and white grapes. And a little secret: during the tirage, the phase in which sugars and yeasts are added to start the second fermentation in the bottle, less sugar is added to the Satèn. Finally, a long period of aging enhances a soft elegance in every single bottle.

Tasting Notes

At sight it shows a beautiful straw yellow color, slightly tending to golden. The perlage is fine and persistent. On the nose there are interesting hints that recall nuts, embellished with touches of yeast, pastry and light hints of citrus. In the mouth it is full-bodied, enveloping and ample thanks to an elegantly savory sip, whose taste is also felt in the finish.

Pairings

Perfect to accompany appetizers, cold cuts and salami, it is ideal in combination with dishes based on fish and shellfish.
