The Brut Rosé Riserva del Fondatore Giulio Ferrari is a sparkling wine that is not only at the top of the entire regional appellation, but which aims to become the icon of Italian rosé bubbles. A label in which the mountain Pinot Noir manages to give vibrant emotions, which push the sip, refreshing and marked by a lively flavor, towards a very long finish, which closes a taste that is nothing short of sublime.
The Riserva del Fondatore Giulio Ferrari Rosé Brut comes from a blend of Pinot Noir, present in the final cut at 80%, and Chardonnay. The grapes are harvested manually during the harvest, and are then immediately transferred to the premises where the Ferrari winery carries out the vinification. Here the first fermentation takes place, in stainless steel containers, while the refermentation takes place in the bottle, following the production principles of the Classic Method. The sparkling wine then remains for 132 months, that is 11 years on the lees, until the disgorgement, dosage and bottling operations are carried out.
Tasting Notes
In the glass it shows off a bright salmon pink color, with coppery flashes that tend to coral. Its perlage is full of minute bubbles. The nose insists on sweet notes of wild rose jam and citrus fruits that intertwine with a spicy and mineral texture of immediate pleasure. In the mouth it shows a convincing balance between the fresh and savory component. The sip is very long to complete a perfect gustatory picture.
Pairings
Excellent as an aperitif, it is ideal to accompany refined meats, savory first courses and aged cheeses. It is enhanced in combination with shellfish dishes.
