A red of extraordinary quality produced from the hand-harvested vineyards of the Rioja Alavesa area. A maturation of about 22 months in oak barrels leads to a round and expressive Reserva, soft and enveloping, capable of surprising not only for its texture but also for its longevity.
Tasting Notes
Intense ruby red. The nose is elegant, characterized by spicy notes of vanilla, hints of red fruit and a slight vegetal trace. On the palate it is full-bodied, solid, complex and refined. A soft tannic texture and a slight acidity anticipate an excellent persistence.
Pairings
Throughout the meal, it goes well with rich meat dishes, even roasted. Excellent on very aged cheeses.
