Franciacorta DOCG Brut Satèn 2020 – Ferghettina

This Franciacorta Satèn di Ferghettina is produced only from Chardonnay grapes harvested from 20 high-quality vineyards located in 6 municipalities of the Franciacorta appellation. The harvest begins in the second decade of August and continues until the first week of September. From the soft pressing of the grapes we obtain the must of which only the so-called flower, that is deriving from the first pressing, will undergo fermentation. The second fermentation is carried out in the bottle and the refinement is carried out for 24 months in contact with the yeasts, plus another 2 months following disgorgement.

Tasting Notes

In the glass it is a beautiful bright yellow, decorated with a fine and persistent perlage. It expresses all its elegance in a creamy and delicate nose, with notes of almond and sweet pastry. The taste is composed and pleasant, supported by a subtle effervescence.

Pairings

Perfect in the company of raw fish, sushi and sashimi, it goes well with shellfish and light appetizers based on cold cuts.
