It offers a lot of fruit, which combined with a beautiful finish and an elegant tannic texture, make this Rosso di Montalcino a wine of the highest level. Left to rest for six months in large Allier oak barrels, it is a typical and characteristic Red, to be drunk without reserve and to be appreciated until the last drop. He is the little brother of the Mastrojanni Brunellos, but the fabric is the same as the great labels produced by what is one of the most historic wineries in the whole of Ilcinese. It is a Rosso di Montalcino which, in its small way, has the character of Brunello.
Tasting Notes
The intense and brilliant ruby color anticipates a broad and rich nose, dominated by strong notes of ripe red fruits and embellished with balsamic and spicy suggestions.
