Illivio by Livio Felluga is an intense and rich wine, which perfectly expresses the historic vocation of the Colli Orientali del Friuli in producing great whites. It comes from an assembly of white berried grapes of French origin, traditionally grown in the territory, Pinot Bianco and Chardonnay, to which is added a small percentage of the native grape variety Picolit. After the harvest at the end of September, the grapes are gently pressed and the must decanted to clarify it and then left to ferment in barrique. The aging of the wine also takes place in barrique for 10 months and then in the bottle. Illivio Bianco Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is an elegant, refined and well-structured wine, which lends itself to quality consumption. It is possible to extend the aging time in the cellar up to 3 or 4 years.
