On the slopes of Etna, which rises majestically to protect the vineyards, there are two cultivars that most represent the viticultural vocation of the territory: the Carricante and the Nerello Mascalese. From these grapes with a strong personality are born the new wines of Etna di Mandrarossa, children of the black earth, where Carricante gives life to an energetic, elegant and surprisingly fresh white. Sentiero delle Gerle is their name, inextricably linked to the place where they are born, in the territory of Linguaglossa, to an ancient history that sees women as protagonists, true guardians of the vineyard.
Aged in steel for 13/15 months, it is a pleasantly mineral wine, marked, in particular, by scents of orange blossom.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow, with golden reflections. The nose has a pleasant finesse; it is expressed with hints of yellow fruits and notes of white flowers. On the palate it is broad and rich, with balanced acidity and a harmonious finish.
Pairings
Excellent in combination with fish-based preparations, it also goes well with crustaceans and molluscs.
