Il Montepulciano Spelt della Fattoria La Valentina è un rosso storico di grande fama. Intrigante e intenso, si presenta con un abito rosso rubino molto carico e cromaticamente profondo. Un grande vino da invecchiamento, che esprime tutta la complessità data dal lungo affinamento in legno e in bottiglia, presentandosi denso e concentrato, con un profilo varietale marchiato e con un palato ricco, avvolgente e dolcemente speziato.
It has a ruby color, barely transparent. The olfactory impact is characterized by juniper and pink pepper, on a base of ripe and dark fruit, plum and cherry jam, there is also a hint of licorice and hints of cinchona and tobacco. On the palate it is soft, savory, with a present but smooth tannin. The closure is balsamic.
It goes well with baked lamb and kid, grilled meats, kebabs and lamb chops, pasta dishes with meat sauce.
