An Aglianico del Vulture that comes from the vineyards of Barile, in Basilicata, located on the slopes of Monte Vulture, a large extinct volcano in Southern Italy. The harvest takes place by hand in early October. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at a maximum temperature of 25 ° C, followed by malolactic fermentation always in steel.
Tasting Notes
It has an intense ruby red color with slight garnet reflections. On the nose, currants dominate the scene, spreading out on a moderately spiced bed. On the palate it is dry and savory, with great persistence.
Pairings
It offers excellent second courses based on red meats or game. It is excellent to accompany a platter of aged cheeses.
