Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva Bosan di Cesari was born in vineyards located in the most suitable area of Valpolicella, in the province of Verona, in Veneto. It is mainly produced with Corvina grapes and partly with Rondinella grapes, harvested and selected by hand in the second ten days of September. The fermentation, with maceration of about 30 days, takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels and in French oak barriques, followed by a 15-month refinement in bottle, before being marketed.
Tasting Notes
Characterized by a very dark ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with intense fruity aromas of cherry and plum jam, enriched by elegant hints of dark chocolate, black truffle and licorice. On the palate it is full, soft and round with a pleasantly long and persistent finish.
Pairings
Ideal in combination with game, grilled red and white meats, this Amarone is also an excellent wine to accompany moments of conversation between meals.
