THEThe Nipozzano Castle, built in the year 1000, is located in the heart of the prestigious Chianti Rufina area, right on the mountainous side overlooking the Arno river valley. Emblematic wine of the Castle, Nipozzano Riserva is the symbol of the Tuscan winemaking tradition and the indissoluble bond with the terroir.
Brilliant ruby red. The nose is characterized by hints of red and black berry fruits, such as black cherry, raspberry, blueberry, red and black currant; delicate citrus notes follow that give rise to a beautiful freshness. The floral notes also characterize the profile of this wine with hints reminiscent of violet and dog rose. The bouquet is completed by delicate spicy notes of black pepper and balsamic notes, which reinforce the sensation of elegant freshness. On the palate the acid-alcoholic component is perfectly balanced. The tannic texture is well present, in a very elegant way.
For the whole meal, it goes well with grilled red meat, baked lamb, slightly seasoned pecorino.
