An original Franciacorta, with a modern style, thanks to a skilful use of Pinot Noir grapes. It is produced with Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes, harvested by hand between the end of August and the beginning of September. After a soft pressing, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine is aged for 7 months in steel tanks and partly in barriques before bottling.
Tasting Notes
Franciacorta Rosé by Contadi Castaldi is characterized by a bright coral pink color and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with notes of berries, rose petals, apple and tropical fruits. On the palate it is sapid and well structured, with a long and well-balanced finish.
Pairings
Perfect as an aperitif, it is ideal to accompany fish dishes but also cold cuts.
