Franciacorta DOCG Rosé Tenuta Montenisa - Antinori

Tenuta Montenisa is located in the heart of Franciacorta, around the Borgo di Calino. The estate cultivates the varieties that are traditionally best suited to the production of Franciacorta: Chardonnay, with a typical aroma with floral and fruity notes, Pinot Noir, capable of giving structure and personality, Pinot Bianco, savory and mineral. The grape harvest is done manually, with a careful selection of the bunches.

Produced for the first time in 2006, Tenuta Montenisa's Rosé is Franciacorta which demonstrates all the potential of pinot noir. A sparkling wine of great energy and charm, whose stay on the yeasts lasts for 24 months, the minimum period of time to find in the glass that wonderful synthesis between notes of bread crust typical of the second fermentation and hints of small red fruits typical of the varietal. Intense, vibrant, rich and dynamic, Franciacorta is capable of bewitching.

Tasting Notes

Pale cherry pink, with a creamy froth and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals notes of dried wild flowers, small red fruits, yeast, bread crust. On the palate it is fresh, pleasantly structured, elegant, of great harmony and excellent persistence.

Pairings

Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with antipasti based on cured meats, first courses based on shellfish, white meats and medium-aged cheeses.
