Livio Felluga's Pinot Grigio is one of the excellences of the wonderful territory of the Colli Orientali del Friuli. An intense, rich and fruity white, which highlights the best characteristics of this French vine much loved all over the world. On the Friulian hills, Pinot Grigio expresses itself with a particular maturity, which gives the wine dense aromas of fruit, softness of tropical fruit, fresh citrus nuances, which make the sip particularly harmonious and balanced.
At the end of the manual harvest, the grapes are softly pressed and the must fermented in stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine rests on the lees in steel tanks for about 6 months.
Tasting Notes
In the glass it shows a light yellow color with brilliant coppery reflections. The bouquet is rich and ample, with aromas of white flowers, aromas of ripe fruit, peach, apricot, cartridge melon and citrus nuances. On the palate it is seductive, with intense and enveloping aromas, which stretch towards a pleasantly fruity finish, with a good gustatory persistence.
Pairings
Excellent as an aperitif, it is particularly suitable with fish dishes, shellfish appetizers, risottos and vegetable flans.
