The Taurasi Riserva Vigna Quintodecimo is a cru of two hectares of Aglianico, obtained from the homonymous vineyard, planted in 2001 on the north-west side of the estate. the soil is made up of expandable clayey rocks, very rich in limestone. the vineyard, at 420 meters above sea level with a slope of 25% and facing north / west, is cultivated with espalier with spurred cordon pruning and has a planting density of 5,000 plants per hectare. Vigna Quintodecimo is a subtle balance of small fruits, spices and floral notes. Seductive for its class and aromatic intensity, it is complemented by tasty and well expressed tannins in a deep and refined style. It is a wine of extraordinary richness and elegance that reaches its peak within the first twenty years, retaining its characters for many years to come.
Tasting Notes
Dark ruby red. The nose expresses a subtle balance of small fruits, spices and floral notes in a whole of extraordinary breadth and elegance. On the palate it is intense, seductive, rich and well balanced by a certain freshness. With tasty tannins it closes with a very long and refined finish.

For the whole meal, it goes well with rich main courses based on roasted or stewed meat and long-aged cheeses.
