The experience acquired over many years of careful and respectful observation of Nature has allowed us to conceive Lux Vitis. Everything comes from a Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard planted in Montalcino in 2004 on mixed sandy soils. Over the years, these vines have surprised for the exceptional quality of their grapes, to the point of convincing them to produce an exclusive wine capable of interpreting the Tenuta Luce terroir through Cabernet Sauvignon. A small part of Sangiovese grapes has been added to these grapes to enrich their character. The long aging in new French oak barrels for 24 months has further enhanced its elegance. It was the 2015 harvest and it was baptized Lux Vitis, in homage to the light that gives birth to life.

Tasting Notes

The wine shows a beautiful intense purplish red color almost impenetrable. The nose is complex, rich in ripe fruits such as currants and blackberries, which blend with hints of cedar and tobacco. On the palate it develops with softness and balance, supported by a powerful and refined tannic structure giving the wine a sensation of firmness. The sensations are prolonged in a fruity and persistent finish.
