Red of great charm, the Sassoalloro since its first harvest tells the whole vision of Jacopo Biondi Santi and the wines produced at the Castello di Montepò. A Sangiovese that has been selected in the historic family estate where the famous Brunello di Montalcino is produced and that has been planted in this wonderful corner of Tuscany, not far from Scansano. Vinified in steel, it is red whose maturation continues for just over a year in barrique before a further stop in the bottle. This is how what has now become a great classic is born, an elegant red with sure territorial adherence, suitable for any occasion.
Intense and brilliant ruby red, with splendid purple hues. The nose is engraved with deep fruity and spicy scents, with cherry and raspberry notes in evidence, echoed by balsamic and aromatic herbs notes. In the mouth it enters soft and elegant, invigorated by vibrant freshness and well-blended tannins in the solid structure.
Throughout the meal, it goes well with rich first courses based on meat sauce. Excellent with grilled meats and long-aged cheeses.
