Frescobaldi Brut is a classic method sparkling wine born with the refermentation in bottle from Chardonnay grapes and at least 24 months of aging on the lees.
Tasting Notes
With a bright straw yellow color and a very fine and persistent perlage. The nose is fragrant, with notes of white-fleshed fruit; clear hints of butter and bread crust. To the fruity, composite and complex tone, flavors of pineapple and lemon are added. In the mouth it is soft, velvety, with a refreshing acid vein and solid body but without excess. The citrine finish greatly lengthens the persistence.
Pairings
Ideal for the whole meal, but also valid with seafood, such as mussels and clams sautéed in a pan, crustaceans or white meat sautéed in a pan, such as veal escalopes with artichokes or rabbit with herbs.
