Esiste una zona collinare particolarmente preziosa all’interno del Comune di Valdobbiadene: si chiama Cartizze. La sua bellezza toglie il fiato. Il suo fascino è antico, fuori dal tempo. Si susseguono filari curati da viticoltori con dedizione assoluta. La collina di Cartizze è infatti un vero e proprio Grand Cru. Storicamente si ritiene che dai pochi ettari di vigneto posti lungo le sue rive provengano le uve di maggior pregio. Per la particolare esposizione al sole e la mineralità del terreno qui il vitigno produce acini più rotondi, gonfi e dal sapore zuccherino che rendono la sua qualità assolutamente superiore. La vendemmia viene fatta a mano.
In the glass it shows a very transparent and bright straw yellow color, with a perlage that is striking for its persistence and subtlety. The nose develops notes of fruit, hazelnuts, acacia flowers and aromatic herbs, perfectly balanced. In the mouth it is incredibly fine and elegant, creamy, fresh, characterized by an excellent savory component.
A wine with a very delicate structure, which lends itself to being consumed on several occasions. For an aperitif it is a choice of great class, while for the whole meal it is recommended to combine it with desserts such as fruit tarts and mousse.
