Description

The best selection of Valpolicella is passed over the Amarone pomace, to obtain a second fermentation that enriches its aromas, body and complexity. Produced exclusively in the best vintages, the Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore signed by Tommasi punctually follows the disciplinary. It ages for 15 months in 65-hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels. While maintaining a soft and smooth drink, it does not give up showing a rich and refined personality, like a great wine.

Tasting Notes

Intense and bright ruby red, the nose is rich and intensely spicy, with notes of ripe cherry jam, tobacco and black pepper. On the palate it is elegant and full-bodied, with soft and silky tannins and a long persistence.

Pairings

Suitable for dishes of the land cuisine, it is excellent with boiled, braised and grilled red meats.
