This wine is born in Valtellina Superiore, in vineyards ranging from 300 to 650 meters above sea level. Traditional vinification and maturation in second passage barriques for about a year. Before being released on the market, Aldo Rainoldi's Valtellina Superiore DOCG “Prugnolo” ages for a further 9 months. A glass that expresses the characteristics of chiavvenasca well from an early age, but which can give great satisfaction with aging.
Ruby red with garnet nuances, the nose shows fruity and floral scents, surrounded by a very delicate spiciness. In the mouth it is played on freshness and elegant tannins. Excellent structure and long finish.
A wine that lends itself to succulent dishes, red meats, stews and aged cheeses.
