The over fifty years of experience of the Fazi Battaglia winery have made the company the greatest connoisseur of the most intrinsic characteristics of the Verdicchio vine, an incredibly flexible vine variety capable of reaching unthinkable quality levels, as also demonstrated by Verdicchio dei Castelli of Jesi Classico Superiore DOC “Massaccio” - Fazi Battaglia. It comes from a cryomaceration and a fermentation carried out at a controlled temperature. It rests in concrete tanks and ages in the bottle for eight months. Important and full of structure, it has character and personality to sell, such as to place it at the top of its category.
Eye of a beautiful intense golden yellow. The olfactory is guided by floral references to broom and aromatic herbs, by memories of exotic fruit and almond nuances. The mouth is soft and juicy, pleasantly savory, balanced and persistent.
To combine with recipes and savory preparations, it is excellent with veal in tuna sauce.
