In 2012, fifty years after the foundation of Cantine San Marzano, Collezione Cinquanta was born. Without vintage, designed for the occasion, a precious blend of the best red berried varieties typical of Salento. A red of particular thickness and expressiveness, powerful and multifaceted, whose vinification takes place in steel tanks and whose maturation continues in fine French oak barrels for about 12 months.
Ruby red color with purple reflections. Intense and complex bouquet in which traceable fruity notes stand out
with plum and jam and spicy tertiary hints that recall vanilla and licorice. Intense palate, with great structure and softness, long finish.
Throughout the meal, it goes well with red meats, game, robust first courses.
