This Barbera is born in the vineyards of the Piedmontese company Cordero di Montezemolo, located in the province of Cuneo. Obtained exclusively from Barbera grapes, harvested from different and carefully selected vineyards, the wine follows the classic red vinification processes, also carrying out malolactic fermentation in wood. The product is then placed in French and Slavonian oak barrels for about 8 months. It is then put on the market after a brief refinement in glass.
Tasting Notes
It has a very concentrated color, with purplish textures. The nose brings fruity aromas of blackberry and plum, which go well with spicy sensations of cocoa and other sweet spices. It is full in the mouth and with a good freshness, supported by very smooth tannins.
Pairings
Perfect with many dishes of the typical Piedmontese cuisine such as mixed boiled meat, hot cold cuts with sauces and thistle pie.
