The son of a vintage that experienced a short summer and a sunny and dry September, full of significant temperature variations, the Brunello di Montalcino by Mastrojanni is a confirmation of what is a great winery, for decades capable of punctually giving wines of high quality level. It rests for 36 months in Allier oak barrels, to tell the sip a story made of noble tannins, powerful structure and great acidity. It is not just any Brunello, capable of exalting the terroir from which it comes from wonderfully, and also capable of making us remember what excellence the Chinese land hides.
Tasting Notes
The wine with a bright and bright ruby red color, is offered to the nose with a very rich baggage of notes of marasca cherry and pulpy and ripe plum embellished with spicy touches, earthy and mineral nuances and intriguing notes of undergrowth.
At the sip the noble tannic texture of Sangiovese stretches tight and impressive but also velvety, accompanied by an acidity of juicy freshness that gives elegance and long persistence.
Pairings
To be paired with game or game dishes, it is perfect with sweet and sour wild boar.
