Luce Brunello is a tribute to Montalcino, the area where, in the second half of the nineteenth century, Brunello was born, the first wine in Italy to obtain the Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin, in 1980. Of the 88 hectares of vineyards of Tenuta Luce, 11 they are registered in the Brunello di Montalcino register. This is where the grapes destined for Luce Brunello are born: in the wake of the excellence of a territory with an extraordinary winemaking vocation, it is the best interpretation of this renowned wine.
Tasting Notes
The color is ruby red, the nose immediately reveals its elegance and complexity, with aromas of cherries in alcohol, violet and tertiary notes of tobacco, black olives and undergrowth. On the palate the wine is compact, creamy, supported by a brilliant acidity with precise, round tannins that give the wine a long persistence.
Pairings
For the whole meal, it goes well with stews, long-cooked meat dishes and aged cheeses.
