The grapes of the Rosso Campania Igp wine are harvested when fully ripe by hand and the bunches are carefully selected. The two grape varieties are harvested and vinified separately, to be then assembled and refined. This is followed by maturation and fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, malolactic fermentation and, in part, long élevage in first and second passage French oak barrels. It is an elegant and full-bodied wine, created to give long perspectives of pleasure to the palate.
Tasting Notes
Intense ruby color with purple hues. The nose offers a refined composition of vegetal and fruity scents, with subtle references to aromatic herbs, plum, black cherry and sweet spices. Heady tertiary notes of dark tobacco, leather and ink follow. Fresh, with warm elegance and rich structure with round and compact tannins, it suggests a long aging prospect.
Pairings
Excellent in combination with structured preparations, it goes well with red meat.
