The Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label has been the symbol of the Maison since 1772. In perfect balance between vigor and refinement, its complexity is given by the undisputed presence of Pinot Noir. It evokes the superb vineyards and the distinctive style of the Maison.
The Yellow Label comes from the assembly of 50-60 different Crus. Traditionally, the proportions of the different grape varieties used foresee a 50-55% of Pinot Nero, from 15 to 20% of Meunier and from 28 to 33% of Chardonnay. These percentages vary slightly from year to year based on circumstances. For the blending, he will draw from the most precious reserve wines: from 30 to 45% to guarantee the continuity of the typical style of the Maison. All wines are stored separately to preserve the unique qualities of their vineyard and / or vintage.
Bright straw yellow, with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose expresses fruity notes embellished with hints of brioche and vanilla. Delicate and decisive at the same time, on the palate it expresses great freshness in a context of excellent balance. Impeccable, it closes with a clean finish.
Perfect for high-level aperitifs, it is suggested to be paired with fish tartare, salmon and seafood., But also served in the company of Parmesan cheese flakes.
