Like a delicate caress of flavors, Perrier-Jouët Champagne Brut Rosé “Belle Epoque” has an intense and lasting character, but also elegant and refined. It is elaborated according to the purest tradition of the maison and rests on the lees for at least six years. It is a multi-sensorial wine, characterized by sweet and complex harmonies that come together in a perfect balance.
Just looking at it, the bottle evokes the atmosphere that its name expresses, that Belle Epoque that everyone would like to have experienced. Considered among the most elegant and refined champagnes on the market, both for Emile Gallé's anemones, inlaid throughout the bottle, and for the character and structure of the liquid it contains.
Tasting Notes
Bright pink with orange shades and yellow reflections; abundant and lasting perlage. Fruity and floral on the nose, with hints of raspberry and strawberry, followed by aromas of orange, pink grapefruit and pomegranate. On the palate it is first fresh and refined, then round and harmonious, and finally long and silky.
Pairings
It goes well with fish and shellfish. It is best enjoyed with a lobster tail sautéed in seaweed butter and accompanied by raw endive leaves and green apple wakamé.
