Rosé Majeur wonderfully embodies the originality and delicacy of the House's wines. Its singularity comes from an assembly composed for the 50% from Chardonnay. This emblematic grape variety of the Maison confers an incomparable freshness and finesse. For assembly and vinification, nothing is left to chance. The Pinot Noir come from the best crus of the Montagna di Reims and are processed with an emphasis on the fruit rather than the structure.
Rosé Majeur is first of all a story of carefully measured delicacy. The delicate notes are given by the red wine added in small proportion to the assembly. This still wine is made exclusively from Aÿ Pinot Noir, a Grand Cru characterized by the legendary generosity on the fruit. The low dosage, signature of the Maison, underlines the beautiful freshness and elegance of a large rosé blend.
Tasting Notes
At sight it is pale and delicate pink. On the nose it is bewitching, generous and open, it releases notes of red fruits
(strawberries and raspberries) and peaches. On the palate it is airy and expressive, it is characterized by its freshness due to the strong
presence of Chardonnay. Notes of raspberries are highlighted. The finish is voluptuous and enveloping with an important persistence of the fruit.
Pairings
Particularly at home at the table, Rosé Majeur will be the perfect accomplice of a grilled salmon fillet, lamb chops or a red fruit tartlet.
