Symbol of a heroic viticulture, practiced in the geographically inaccessible areas of the Amalfi coast, in tiny patches of land torn from the mountains, the rocks, the sea, where every harvest is an act of effort and love, the Furore Bianco by Marisa Cuomo is a wine as they don't drink it every day. The grapes harvested by hand arrive intact in the cellar, after destemming and crushing they are subjected to soft pressing. The free run must, after cold static clarification and inoculation of selected yeasts, ferments at a temperature of about 15 ° for about 20/30 days. Subsequently, the Costa d'Amalfi Furore Bianco ages in steel on the lees for about six months, so as to be wonderfully intact on the fruit and on the varietal aromas, as well as precious in its brackish, mineral and Mediterranean nuances.
Tasting Notes
Pale straw yellow color and delicate fruit scent that brings back the unmistakable Mediterranean smells of the area of origin. The flavor is full and balanced with a slight dominance of the acidulous note to support the freshness of the aromas.
Pairings
It goes well with a good seafood appetizer, shellfish and steamed and grilled fish. Excellent with a succulent and fragrant risotto with seafood or with a steak of amalfiot seared in sfusato amalfitano. Also balanced with preparations based on vegetables and fresh cheeses such as Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP.
