The Costa d'Amalfi Rosato by Marisa Cuomo is the son of the generous and sunny land of Campania. It comes from an assembly in equal parts of the two great red grape varieties of the region: Piedirosso and Aglianico. Two perfectly complementary grapes, the first fruity and harmonious, the second structured and deep. Far from the light, transparent and diaphanous rosés, inspired by the Provencal style, it proudly claims its territorial nature, fidelity to the character of the production area of the local indigenous varieties. Calibrated to the millimeter in all its organoleptic components, it is a precious rosé to say the least.
It is presented in the glass of a beautiful cherry pink, intense and luminous. The nose perceives fragrant and deep floral and fruity scents, among which we recognize violet and rose, then raspberry and plum. The mouth is fresh and supported by a good acidic shoulder, persistent and savory at the end.
It goes perfectly with fish-based appetizers such as a tasty lightly spiced tuna carpaccio. Versatile also in combination with delicate white and red meats. Intriguing and youthful if you taste it with Neapolitan pizza or even a fried pizza.
