It is from the oldest vineyards of the estate that “La Grande Cuvée” of Domaine Lafage is born, a rosé of rare elegance coming from a careful manual selection of the typical varieties of the area: grenache, both gray and black, and mourvèdre. A rosé of great depth, the perfect expression of the best the wide area of Roussillon is able to express in terms of warmth and finesse, a perfect companion to the table both today and tomorrow: it is no secret that the best Lafage wines they are in fact able to improve with the passing of the seasons, if well preserved in the cellar.
Light cherry pink, the nose expresses intense notes of small red fruits embellished with pleasant floral scents. A trace of clear mineral matrix opens to a fresh, soft, elegant and very persistent taste.
Throughout the meal, it goes perfectly with sushi and sashimi. Try it with a beef tartare.
