Franciacorta Extra Brut di Ferghettina comes from the gentle hills of Franciacorta, in vineyards located on calcareous-clayey soils located at a height of 250 meters above sea level It is mainly produced with Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes, harvested only half by hand August. The vinification takes place separately, vineyard by vineyard: a soft pressing of the grapes follows the fermentation of only the free-run must in steel tanks at a temperature of 16-18 ° C. Subsequently the cuvée is assembled, sent to the second fermentation in the bottle, which ends with an aging of 72 months on its lees.
Golden yellow color with a fine persistent perlage. The nose opens with hints of almond, vanilla and candied fruit. In the mouth, excellent balance between delicacy and persistence.
It lends itself to both sea and land aperitifs. Try it with a platter of salami from Brescia. In the first courses its freshness and cleanliness loves to play with lake fish.
