The Franciacorta Riserva Vittorio Moretti is one of the most prestigious cuvées of Bellavista, produced exclusively in the best vintages: a sparkling wine of rare tradition that comes to life from high hill selections of the Erbusco area and fully reflects, in the name and style, the strength of Vittorio Moretti's character , its patron and man who outlined the founding principles of this famous Franciacorta reality.
It is made with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, coming from vineyards facing south, south-east over 20 years of age, with an extremely accurate grape harvest that includes more than 50 selections in the vineyard. The Classic Method masterfully interpreted by Bellavista in this label ends with an aging of 7 years on its own yeasts.
Intense straw yellow, with a very fine and persistent perlage. On the nose it expresses all the elegance of which only Bellavista is capable thanks to hints of ripe fruit, peach and apricot, which immediately give way to citrus and candied notes, honey, bread crust, small pastries. In the mouth it is fresh, intense, ample, enveloping, soft. Harmonious, marked by a luminous acidity and a very incisive freshness, it closes with a very long finish.
Aperitif for special occasions, the Vittorio Moretti it is a sparkling wine that goes splendidly with dishes capable of not overpowering its characteristics. Excellent with a tuna tartare.
