Il Pinot Grigio Ramato Colbajè è uno dei Cru firmati La Tunella, frutto delle uve coltivate negli appezzamenti circoscritti nel comune di Cividale del Friuli con ceppi piantati negli anni Ottanta. Volendo seguire con rigore la tradizione friulana, il mosto ottenuto dalla pressatura soffice delle uve fermenta e si affina “sur lies” con frequenti “bâtonnages” in botti grandi di rovere di Slavonia. Solo dopo un ultimo giusto periodo di riposo e di affinamento in bottiglia verrà posto al giudizio del consumatore.

Tasting Notes

Intense straw yellow with golden reflections and a light coppery nuance. The nose is intense, broad and fruity with notes reminiscent of the sweetness of pear pulp and ripe apricot combined with a background of almond blossoms and delicate floral sensations perfectly integrated with the current of balsamic aromas of the oak in which it has matured. On the palate it is dense and enveloping, persistent and balanced, particularly harmonious and full-bodied in its minerality.

Pairings

It lends itself well to accompany dishes based on mushrooms, fish and white meats. Also excellent with cured meats and creamy cheeses.
