The Forastera of Casa D'Ambra comes to light from vineyards located on the southwestern side of the island of Ischia, falling within the municipalities of Forio and Serrara Fontana, in the province of Naples. It is obtained largely from Forastera grapes, and from grapes of the San Lunardo and Uva Rillo varieties, vinified without any contact with the skins. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose the scent is delicate, characterized by hints of yellow pulp fruit and Mediterranean scrub. On the palate it is a dry, almondy wine with character and persistence
Pairings
To be combined with a marinara risotto, spaghetti with seafood and cicadas, baked and steamed fish. Excellent as an aperitif.
