From a relatively young vineyard, conducted according to the most modern technologies, located on a hilly area adjacent to Lake Bolsena, perfectly intact and healthy grapes are obtained to be sent for drying. Roscetto is a native Lazio grape variety typical of the Montefiascone area which takes its name from the color of the skin, which changes as it ripens from green to yellow, from yellow to pink. A distant relative of the Greek, this grape is well suited to the production of dessert wines. In fact, left to rest on traditional racks and vinified in large oak barrels, the Lazio PGI “Passirò” is a wine that stands out for its softness and balance, so fascinating in expressing notes of honey and dried fruit.
