#Caprai4Love is a project by Arnaldo Caprai in favor of social and territorial sustainability, which since 2013,
thanks to the sale of limited edition wines, it has allowed the restoration of various works of art visible at the San Francesco Museum in Montefalco. Sustainability is therefore understood as the maximum enhancement of the territory, to return a social dividend to the community where the renowned DOCG Montefalco Sagrantino wine is produced.

This limited edition celebrates the 700th year of the death of the great poet Dante Alighieri, author of the Divine Comedy and icon of Italian culture in the world. The label is the work of Canadian artist Rick Rojnic (2018), reinterpretation of Dante's portrait as part of the cycle of frescoes "Stories from the life of St. Francis" painted by Benozzo Gozzoli in 1452, and visible in the Museum of Montefalco.

Dante belonged to the Secular Franciscan Order and by depicting him, Benozzo Gozzoli values the Franciscan Rule as an element of the civilization of his time. Franciscan spirituality is therefore assumed to be of universal value. The Divine Comedy mirror of the Italy of yesterday and today, we celebrate it through the verses "And then we went out to see
the stars "(Inferno XXXIV, 139) shown on the tissue paper, so that they are a good omen and show us the way towards a prosperous and peaceful future.

Tasting Notes

Deep and impenetrable ruby red color. Complex and persistent nose, dominated by notes of plums, cherry jam, aromatic spices. In the mouth structured and powerful but still fresh and velvety; good structure. Long finish, with a return of spices and red fruit.
