Arnaldo Caprai's Sagrantino di Montefalco “Collepiano” was born in vineyards located in the lands of Montefalco in Umbria, from a company in continuous development to create wines with great personality and typicality. Produced exclusively with Sagrantino grapes, it ages for about 22 months in barriques and for a further 6 months in the bottle. A Sagrantino of great balance that amazes for detail and finesse.

Tasting Notes

Very dark ruby red, the nose reveals hints of blackberry jam, pepper, clove and vanilla, a balsamic note and a touch of face powder. On the palate it is powerful and at the same time elegant, characterized by a tannic texture of incredible precision and workmanship. It closes very long, with notes of blackberry.

Pairings

Perfect to accompany roasts and game, it is ideal in combination with stewed meats.
