A nice softness balances the firm tannins making the wine balanced on the palate and suitable for pairing with dishes of a certain structure.

Tasting Notes

Lively and intense ruby red color; the bouquet is an elegant intertwining of floral notes of violet, fruity hints of
cherry and blackberry, spicy notes of coriander, black pepper and licorice. A light roasting enriches the olfactory profile with notes of tobacco and cocoa. Strong but elegant tannin, not very marked; structured wine in which there is a nice freshness given by a good acid note that ensures a certain longevity.

Pairings

Succulent and very seasoned first courses such as lasagna, pasta with meat sauce, homemade pasta with rich sauces. Also ideal with second courses of red meat, stews, braised meats and grilled meats. Also excellent with semi-mature cheeses.
