Rum Explorer is an international project dedicated to the selection of exclusive barrels, created by Château du Breuil, a well-known company for the production of the highest quality Calvados. It is one of the most modern distilleries in the country due to its low energy consumption criterion and its efficient bottling line. Among other things, it produces the famous Mekong liqueur. The distillery belongs to the Thai beverage company, leader in Thai spirits (80% of market volumes).
5 years in ex-Bourbon barrels and finish at Château du Breuil in ex-Calvados barrels to give aroma and refinement.
Old gold. A nose marked by plants with hints of licorice, sage and bergamot. Everything is enhanced by notes of lime zest and pepper. The palate is characterized by empyheumatic flavors such as dark chocolate and caramel. The vegetal notes are more discreet. A finish on the delicacy of coconut.
Ideal to serve neat or with a cigar, perfect with chocolate.
