Salento IGT Fiano “Talò” 2023 – San Marzano

Talò, a surname, to collectively thank the farmers of San Marzano who, with their families, take care of each vineyard as if it were their garden. Talò, a collection of different varietals, the symbol of a community.

Talò Fiano Salento PGI from 100% Fiano, a variety from nearby Campania and whose presence in Puglia is documented since the 13th century. The refinement of aromas and the tantalizing acid note make it an agile wine, ideal to combine with a light aperitif, starters and fish first courses.

Tasting Notes

Pale straw yellow color with bright green reflections; opens to the nose with fragrant floral notes combined with hints
of fresh exotic fruit. It envelops the palate with a decisive softness supported by a harmonious flavor and a good acidic shoulder.

Pairings

Mixed seafood appetizers, raw shellfish and first courses with pink fish sauces.
