Of all foods, nothing is sweeter than drinks. Of all the drinks, only wine is able to celebrate in all its fullness this journey of very human happiness, stretched between the earth and the throat. But there is no wine; there are wines. And each wine has its own history: recent or ancient, linear or sinuous, individual or choral. This, in a nutshell, is the philosophy of Luciano Ercolino in creating his wines, including, an absolute expression of quality, the Taurasi DOCG “Marziacanale”.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby red color with intense garnet hues. On the nose, cocoa and spicy notes are perceived, softened by hints of cinnamon. On the palate there are intense notes of red berries and, again, black pepper and licorice. Intense and enveloping with round tannins and excellent persistence.
